I went to see HHTDL when he was over, by a strange route a friend got me an invitation, worth is weight in gold so I was told. Now the Dalai Lama is the nearest thing we have to royalty in the Buddhist world. Amazing time, most of it went over my head, well all of it really. The strange thing it all reminds me of an old boyfriend who took me to see Death Leopard in concert... the relationship did not last! For weeks after my ears were ringing and you could hear it in your head.
The strange and spooky thing is since listening to HHTDL there as been a little laughing bell in my head ringing away. At quiet times I can here it ringing. So I am going to sit under the cherry tree this weekend and just listen.
